Cozy Coven Chronicles
Cozy Coven Chronicles was a collaborative project created as part of my university unit, Cheddar Cat Studios. The game was designed with a VFX and production design studio style, and I was responsible for the environment and level design. I created three maps for the game, which is an open-world role-playing game where players take on the role a new witch in a lively village. The objective is to help the villagers by summoning familiars to hire out or use for your own advantage to complete tasks.

Map 1
PotionShop
The first map I made using asset packs from Unreal Engine Marketplace. The Potionshop is a charming and cozy little shop, designed to be small and cluttered with ambient lighting and magical and herbal ingredients scattered around. The cauldron the counter and libraries of potion books add to the magical atmosphere of the shop. The design is optimized through limiting HLODs and Shadow Casting, as well as merging small sections of the level together to reduce asset quantity, making it a visually stunning and efficient map.
Map 2
Summoning Basement
The second map for the team project features a summoning basement that is used to summon familiars. These familiars can be rented out to villagers or used by players to complete potion quests. The basement is designed to be dark and magical, and a rhythm game is played to summon the familiar. This creates an immersive and engaging experience for players, making the game even more.

Map 3
Cozy Map
One standout project is the village map I created for a team project, which features multiple interactable villagers and quests, as well as a cozy and ambient atmosphere created with firefly particle effects and dense foliage. The potionshop on a small island connected by a bridge is a particularly impressive feature, complete with small cozy cottages and signposts to help players navigate the area. The map is just the first rendition of a possible full release of a game created from a university project that could be expanded to a larger scale of a cozy and fully interactive village

UI Design
For the group project, I have created a unique UI design for all the interactive features. The pixel art used in the inventory system was made in a cartony, bright and aesthetic style using Pyxel Edit and exported as PNGs. Additionally, all interactive elements of the game are accompanied by UI designs made in Photoshop, styled in an old book, witchy, pentagram aesthetic, giving the UI a weathered and satanic look.
